Shipping & Returns

Jadeite.ca is located in Ottawa, ON Canada. All orders are shipped from our Canadian location directly.

Taxes
Canadian residents are subject to 5% GST or HST whatever applicable for your province. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees in their countries.

Payment
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, bank transfer via PayPal (USD, CAD). "P-KOTECH INC" may be shown on your credit card statement. A verfied billing address is needed for all orders.

Shipping
All orders within Continental USA and Canada are shipped from Ontario Canada by Canadapost Expedited Parcel with tracking number and insurance.
International customers are shipped via Regular Air Mail via Canadapost with optional insurance. If you need additional shipping option, please e-mail us for shipping quote. Thank you.

Damage / Loss
We inspect the jade items carefully and wrap the items in protective packaging material before shipping to ensure that they do not have cracks and minimize the chance of damage during shipment. However, in rare cases when they are damaged in shipment, we will provide you the procedure to initiate insurance claim. Do not return damaged items for credit, refund or replacement unless you are instructed. Any damage is considered to have happened during shipping. Refund may be a complete refund, store credit, or replacement at discretion of Jadeite.ca.

Tracking number or shipping reference is provided for all shipment. If you do not receive your items in a reasonable length of time, please contact us for instruction to initiate a claim for insurance. We use tracking information to determine the delivery status of each shipment. You will be refunded or your order sent again only after the number of days required by the insurance carrier.

Credit card chargebacks will not be tolerated if you fail to complete all the steps necessary for insurance claims. If you initiate a chargeback, you will be assessed an additional $50 fee.

Return and Exchange
Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs for the return and exchange. Return and exchange must becompleted within 10 days of sale. You must have have an authorization before proceeding with any return and exchange. For exchange, buyer will be charged for the exchange bangle and shipping, a 20% restocking fee applies and refund will be issued when the original bangle is received and inspected. Returns are credited at 50% of the original purchase price. No returns or exchanges on clearance and trade-in or pre-owned items. All sales are final for these items.

Clearance items and items that are sold at nearly or more than 50% discount off the original price are considered final sales, so no exchange nor refund will be granted.
